A cleaner apartment would be stellar

What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Hmmm… well December 12th is currently etched in my memory… and November 10th. For completely opposite reasons… December 12th being a really really great day from start to end really (last exam, Christmas luncheon and AMAZINGly fabulous evening)… and November 10th because of the loss of my grandmother.

What was your biggest achievement of the year?

I need to be more organized… somewhat anyhow.

Did you suffer illness or injury?
Well… I think that the nerve in my left hand really STILL doesn't like me after donating blood in the summer.

Hmmm…. I buy stuff? 😉 Well probably my rockin' awesome jean skirt. Sure. That.

My golly… I'd say Anastasia's really. If anyone deserves kudos, she does!

Social life, and travelling… also CKI occasionally.

What song will always remind you of 2005?
I dunno… probably some of those songs that showed up at ICON… especially the one that was played so often at the HOD!

Compared to this time last year, are you: happier or sadder?
Happier!!!!

What do you wish you'd done more of?
Cleaned my apt better, written more, gotten out of the house more often and of course spent more time with my awesome friends.

What do you wish you'd done less of?
Gotten all stressed out about things… procrastinated other things until the very last moment possible.

Did you fall in love in 2005?
*smiles happily* perhaps? 😉

How many one-night stands?
none.

Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don't really hate people. Dislike their actions perhaps… but no hate here.

Hmmm… I dunno. That's a hard one. Maybe One Hundred Million Hearts by Kerri Sakamoto? Or Black Bird by Michel Basilieres? Or…

23… I celebrated with friends including A Taste of Edmonton, a ballroom dance social, some music from the Jazz Festival at Sir Winston Churchill Square, Gabbana, board games and girly magazines, and great great conversation. I wish more friends had been there however.

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Hmmm… I don't know honestly… seeing more of my friends? Especially the far flung ones?

Much much more skirts… more girly really.

Who did you miss?
I miss many… far too many.

Who was the best new person you met?
Jeff… *blushes*

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005?
To do what I believe in… regardless of whether it isn't necessarily the best in the short term… or even long term… if it's the right thing for me to do… I ought to follow that somehow.

Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
It's my party and I'll cry if I want to ! (and not for the reasons listed in the Leslie Gore song… There were a lot of moments of tears this year… happy tears and sad. as I've said before, it's been a VERY good year)
