So I'm currently thinking about getting Shaw Digital phone service. Thinking… because it's hypothetically a great plan: unlimited calling in the continental USA and Canada from my phone 24/7… plus a ton of features, and whatnot for only $55/month. I'm still very tentative about the idea, but it's very intriguing… afterall, I'd keep my home number, and be able to call people more often without running out of minutes on my phone cards (this might even encourage me to pick up the phone more often to call people… a certain benefit there!). I wonder how reliable it would be though… and if spending the extra little bit would be worth it for all the features and whatnot (I'm very luddite-ish on occasion)… and if it won't be a huge hassle to switch from Telus to Shaw for phone service…. yet I'm leaning more and more toward it all of the time.
Any thoughts?
